Fortunately for the galgos and other animals of Spain, there are a handful of shelters which take in the unwanted, abused, used-up animals and provide them with shelter, food, and the hope of a forever home. These refuges are few and far between and most rely entirely upon donations – typically from persons and organizations outside of Spain. The following is a list of the shelters and the information we have on them to date. As we are able to find more information about them we will post it here. Please consider making a financial gift to one of these shelters – the animals of Spain need our help.
