Fortunately for the galgos and other animals of Spain, there are a handful of shelters which take in the unwanted, abused, used-up animals and provide them with shelter, food, and the hope of a forever home. These refuges are few and far between and most rely entirely upon donations – typically from persons and organizations outside of Spain. The following is a list of the shelters and the information we have on them to date. As we are able to find more information about them we will post it here.
